As some of you know I exhibited at the Royal Bath and West Show for the first time this year, I knew it was going to be big but I didn't quite realise how big! It was a fabulous 4 days and I got to meet lots of lovely people and their gorgeous pooches.
On the second day I met Heather and John, owners of one very gorgeous and I feel slightly cheeky, Sprocker (Springer cross Cocker in case you hadn't guessed!) called Marley. Not long after the show they sent over a great selection of photos of him for me to work from, he just has the most amazing two tone ears and an expression I could never say no to!
We went for the small size canvas and focused on Marleys face so that I could really get the detail of his eyes and markings. The look on his face in the painting is just adorable but I understand from Heather and John that he can be a rather cheeky chap at times!
