The Border Collie has a special place in my heart, living on a sheep farm in the heart of Dorset, I am surrounded by these wonderfully intelligent dogs, which are ranked as the most intelligent dog in the world by Stanley Coren. The dogs we have are working dogs, herding sheep and responding to the shepherds commands with agility and speed, they are a wonder to watch at work.
I actively support the Border Collie Trust and their wonderful work to re-home dogs where owners have underestimated the dogs natural instinct to herd and their incredible energy.
