Benson the Westie

I do love painting Westies, they always have such great characters and this one was no different. I was commissioned to paint Benson as a present for his Mum and asked to capture his renowned 'awkward sitting pose.'

His mum also has modern white and duck egg blue walls in the living room so I painted him with a duck egg blue background to match which also helps him stand out against the canvas background...
